This Valentine’s Day, the newly released “Dictionary of Men” has added some additional suspects to its “Most Wanted” list with a warning out to daters that certain mates may do more harm than good.

If you already have a Valentine lined up, or if you are still on the prowl at bars, nightclubs, online or via blind dates, beware of five men who are wanted for various dating faux-pas. “Dictionary of Men” asks that you do not try to accept flowers or chocolates from any of these suspects. Diamonds should only be considered after recipients have thoroughly versed themselves with the definition and true story associated with the gift giver. Be on the lookout for:

An aphrodisiac by definition is something that increases sexual desire. Objects may be considered aphrodisiacal because of the way they look (some aphrodisiacs resemble sexual organs – oysters and bananas for example) or because of their physical composition and the effect certain ingredients have the on body as well as taste, feel and smell. The word aphrodisiac comes from the Greek goddess of sexuality and love, Aphrodite.

There are many weird and wonderful aphrodisiacs from all around the world, including Birds Nest Soup, literally made from an Asian Swift's birds nest, Dog and Wolf meat in the Philippines (sorry I couldn't sacrifice my precious Mimi for all the sex in the world!) and even Deer Penis Wine, popular with Chinese, Japanese and Korean men. Sadly, so strong is man's desire to achieve sexual arousal through such animals who walk this earth with us we have seen some animals become endangered, such as tigers, rhinos and turtles (turtle eggs are aphrodisiacs in Mexican tradition and hunting for the eggs has led to a decline in
population.)

At Home Spa Treatment

Hot Chocolate Mud Bath
Ingredients
200g Dark Chocolate
4 Cups Whole Milk

Optional – Ground Spices such as Cinnamon or Ginger,
Oils such as Vanilla, Rose or Almond

If you're lucky enough to have a bath, you can make like Cleopatra but with a chocolatey twist and bathe in milk. Those without a bath can proceed to the next recipe. The Aztecs referred to chocolate as “Nourishment of the Gods”. Dark chocolate is packed full of antioxidants and has more anti-cancer enzymes that red wine. Chocolate when eaten releases a neurotransmitter called phenylethylamine also know as the love drug as it reduces stress, improves mood and quickens the pulse creating a feeling like that of being in love. So make sure you have a nibble whilst preparing the bath! Cleopatra reportedly bathed in milk to keep her skin soft and there is some science behind this. Lactic acid contains alpha-hydroxy acids (you may have seen AHA written on beauty products) which encourages exfoliation naturally and therefore removal of dead skin cells.

To make, simply heat the milk in a milk pan with pouring lip. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water then add to the hot milk. Pour under running water and finally add any spices or oils of your choice. Enjoy the bath for at least 20 minutes for best results and follow up with a body scrub to remove any dead skin cells the AHA has loosened.

Cinnamon and Ginger Body Scrub
Ingredients
1 Cup Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Honey
¼ to ½ cup Sweet Almond Oil
1 tbsp Freshly Grated Ginger (or ½ tbsp ground)
1 tbsp Freshly Grated Cinnamon (or ½ tbsp ground)
8 drops Vanilla Essential Oil

Cinnamon has been used traditionally as an aphrodisiac to stimulate sexual desire in men, even referenced in the bible where a seductress lured her prey to a bed strewn with cinnamon! Some studies have proven men to be attracted to the scent of cinnamon in.... baked goods! Considered a sultry base note, cinnamon has been used in perfumes since ancient times Ginger improves circulation and is therefore said to enhance sensitivity in the erogenous zones whilst the scent of vanilla is believed to increase lust. In Egyptian times many formulas to cure impotency and infertility were based around honey, hopefully you won't need honey for this reason!

To make, simply mix the brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon and honey in a bowl. Once well mixed, pour in bit by bit the sweet almond oil until the brown sugar if saturated. Finally, add the vanilla essential oil and give a final mix.

To use, simply take a small amount in your hands and apply, I usually start with the arms, move on to the body then the legs and finally the feet. Rinse away with warm water to reveal softer, sexy scented skin!

It is gentle enough to use from head to toe, even on sensitive or dry skin conditions, although I would always recommend doing a patch test on the back of your neck or wrist to check for any allergic reaction (particularly to sulphur). To use, simply mix the clay with tepid water to make a paste. I use a paint brush to apply all over. Start with the head and hair, then the face and finally the body. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off with warm water.

Now it's time to do the feet. First prepare two small hot towels per foot by spraying with water, or scented water if you like. Then roll them up and place in a metal colander above a pan of boiling water for a couple of minutes. Take of the heat and cover to retain as much heat as possible. Now apply rhassoul clay paste all over the feet, ensuring any dry patches get a good covering. Wrap the feet in towels and leave for ten minutes. Now remove the towels, taking off the clay with them and using a second towel if necessary.
Now it's time for the final stage of the spa treatment, the body massage.

Colder weather requires TLC from head to toe. Most women nor men think that as the seasons change not only should your skin care routine but so should your makeup ladies.
Your tan fades, your skin gets drier, your hands, feet and cuticles dry out and your face cheeks chap. Depending on where you live in the country you will need to adjust and make some dry skin beauty product purchases. Think emollient and hydrating. Even northeast Florida gets cold and your skin will show it.
Here is a beauty shopping grocery list to get you covered for the season:
(For ladies)
1. A creamy soap and a creamy face cleanser to remove makeup.
2. A rosewater skin freshener (not a drying alcohol based product)
3. An oil based moisturizer unless your face has acne. Even oily skin needs
moisturizer.
4. Eye cream or eye gel (yes, even your under eyes and lids get dry)
5. Rosebud lip salve is all the rage with celebrities and moisturizes your lips,
cuticles, and chapped skin.
6. Exfoliate dead skin with a sloughing lotion weekly.
7. Use moisturizing facemasks once a week.
8. A nice warm bath can be a drop of eucalyptus, jojoba and you soaking for at least
10 minutes. Be cautious getting out of the tub. Enjoy some time for you!
9. Use a hand and body lotion all during the day and before you go to sleep at night.

Your make up routine should change a bit too!
Pearls of wisdom: Choose a lighter color foundation. (Unless you will
continue to spend a lot of time in the sun.) Select winter shades in lipsticks,
blush and eyeshades. However, avoid the deep colors of a vampire. Even
if they are in. Dark lipsticks always make your lips look smaller. Choose a
medium tone of a darker shade. Experiment with a lip stain lip-gloss. Dark
colors on the face can make your eyes or face appear tired too and age you!
*If you a woman of color of course you can wear deeper shades.

For the gentlemen:
Use a non-deodorant soap bar on your face the others will strip your face of it’s natural oils.
Use a shave cream with conditioners.
You too need an eye cream or eye gel to protect your gentle skin around the eye area.
Use a lip balm or a vitamin e stick on your lips.
Experience a honey and almond scrub weekly.
Use a creamy mint or clay mask to keep pores clean as well.

Apply hand and body lotion daily.

Sunscreens are essential even when the winter comes. Spots are for animals not for your skin. Skin cancer continues to be on the rise. Whether riding a bike in your neighborhood, playing a sport or driving in your car. You need to wear some everyday.

Keep hydrated. Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. Your body needs water inside as well as outside. When the temperature gets cold, your face and body will show it!

Tip: Treat yourself to a salon or spa Paraffin hand and feet treatment. It is inexpensive and truly warms you up and conditions your skin beautifully. This is especially important when you have chronic dry skin or work outdoors for a living.

My recipe for a creamy face or hair mask

½ AVOCADO
¼ CUP OF HONEY

Mash the above together. Scoop up in your hand and place on your face (and even hair too) Leave on 10-15 minutes. Rinse well…you are marvelously moisturized.

A Mask for your Sweetie and You
1 container of plain yogurt
This is a skin softening delight. On a clean face, apply with a pastry brush some of the yogurt on both your faces, necks and lips too. A bit around the eyes and under eyes is also fine. Just be careful. Leave on about 10 minutes and rinse with luke warm water.
Follow with moisturizer.
Sore throat Soother
1 small slice of ginger
½ or 1 cup of pineapple chunks
1 cup of vanilla or plain yogurt
½ cup of ice

Blend the above. Sip slowly several times a day until your throat feels better.

If all else fails chicken soup is not only good for the soul…but for the throat too!

Hello guys and beauties. I hope everyone is doing well, and getting ready for a great holiday season coming up. I wanted to write a review on the most raved and highly suggested vitamins for hair, skin, and nails. Phytophanere Dietary Supplements available at Sephora for $50. These supplements were part of my huge collective haul in 11/6/11. Phytophanere provides 120 caplets, which is supposed to lasts for two months. Each caplet provides the necessary vitamins,
minerals, and natural oils to nourish skin, strengthen hair, and fortify nails.

I originally bought these supplements for my healthy hair growth, because I transitioned from my relaxed hair routine to natural hair, and I want my hair to be healthy enough to grow.
Since, I am almost done with these supplements, I am proud to say that I actually do like these supplements and will definitely re-purchase them in the future. The pros are these supplements strengthened my hair and kept my scalp smooth from the necessary oils. My skin looked brighter, it also helped clear my acne, and I noticed a decrease of age lines around my face. My nails looked stronger, and clear. I absolutely have no complaints about the functionality of these supplements, and I can see that these supplements actually does it job. It works very well.

The only con I have about these supplements are I did not notice a difference in hair growth. I only noticed the thickness of my hair, but as far as hair length, I did not notice anything. I was disappointed, but I was pretty happy to notice that these supplements helps turn my fine hair, in to thick hair. I wish I could have noticed some change in length, but maybe my hair is still going through the process of getting used to being natural. I am definitely going to give these
supplements more time, and hopefully see a change in length growth of my hair. That is my only con about these supplements.

I like these supplements, and I can see why many people recommend them. They function well, do what they say it does for hair, skin, and nails, and it is definitely worth the $50. I know it is pricey for a bottle of caplets, but trust me; it is very worth trying out. The supplements actually last for 2 months. I suggest drinking plenty of water while taking these supplements, to see a difference. I highly recommend these supplements to anyone who is looking for good functional

Create a romantic atmosphere for Valentine's Day by using simple supplies and sentimental touches. Thoughtful notes, flowers and candles can create a day to remember for all of your Valentines.

1) Know your purpose. Decide whom you are decorating for as this will determine the "mood" created. Children will like cutout hearts and candies, while a spouse will appreciate a fancy meal and elaborate desserts.

2) Decide the budget and timeframe. If you will only have an hour to decorate then don't plan for much or prepare ahead of time. There are many things on the market today, but don't think you have to spend a lot to make it special. Keep in mind that Valentine's Day is celebrated to show special people how much you care, not how much money you have.

3) Accomplish something special by sending greetings, making dinner or even washing someone's car. Decorating the house can include a framed picture, bath products set up nicely in a bathroom or an elaborately-made table serving a variety of desserts. For a family you might use cardboard cutouts of a heart, cupid, and even the kids' names to show how special they are. You may also include a Valentine box for each member of the family to deposit valentines. These can be made from old shoeboxes and decorated with fabric, paper and stickers.

4) Get supplies early. Shop around for exactly what you need. Crafts stores, thrift shops and hardware stores are some places to start. A yard of fabric and some candles can go a long way. Create fancy wine glasses from thrift store finds and a little ribbon. Use your imagination.

Romantic Tips for the Bedroom

If you want to heat things up in the bedroom, you need to set the tone. Ambiance has a lot to do with sparking the flames of romance, and there is more than one way this can be done. From lighting to the sound system, every change you make inside the boudoir may make a significant change in your love life.

1) Use Your Senses. Your five senses should be your guide when turning your bedroom into a romantic hideaway. Incorporate your sense of sight, touch, smell, hearing and taste to create the romantic bedroom you have always dreamed of having. Think about items that make you feel sexy when you feel them or give you a romantic chill when you see them. These are what you want to incorporate into your room's design.

2) Consider Your Budget. Creating an air of romance does not have to be expensive, you simply need to set a budget and stay within the boundaries. If you want to replace bedding, you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to do it. Instead, try silk or satin sheets. Sateen is less expensive, yet offers the same feel as satin against your skin. There are many ways to stay within budget and still create a romantic scene.

3) Save on Electricity. Display of candles. Rather than dimming your lights, use clusters of candles in various corners to provide the light you need. Not only do candles bring out feelings of intimacy, they have a way of melting away stress, making it easier for you to relax and enjoy the evening. In addition, they give your bedroom a romantic look; and if you see romance, you will begin to feel it too.

4) Tasty Treats. One sure-fire way to add romance to your bedroom is to have a tray of tasty treats available to feed one another. Strawberries accompanied with chocolate dipping sauce are wonderful treats to feed and entice each other. These should be washed down with a glass of sparkling champagne, all of which appeal to the sense of taste.

5) Smell Romance. Yes, romance is in the air; you can smell it. All you need to do is sprinkle your bed with body powder that drives your mate crazy, fill the bedroom with lavender sachet bags or burn incense. When your sense of smell is aroused in the boudoir, other things will soon be aroused as well.

6) Play Your Favorite Music. Romance does not include your favorite Monday night television line-up, so turn off the TV in your bedroom and turn on the stereo.
